Charge 6 will not pair.

Was having trouble syncing my Charge 6 with the android app on a Galaxy phone. Went through the song and dance and finally punted to trying to reset the tracker.. Finally got the app to "see" the tracker right after a fresh install of the app but then it will not connect to get the tracker to show the pairing code. Will not pair in the same way with a Charge 5 I had stopped using because of poor battery life. Several times I tried this with each tracker and freshly reinstalled copies of the app. 

Does not seem an issue with the phone's hardware/software since it pairs properly with another device. The phone also "sees" the trackers in pairing mode in the available devices list.

Any ideas on how to proceed from here? I don't want to move on to one of the larger watches.

My charge 6 stopped syncing on Tuesday October 22nd. Tried every
troubleshooting even invented some new ones nothing has worked I have
called Fitbit twice and they say they're working on it. Frustrated now even
the watch is losing time. It has now lost 7 minutes from the correct time
because it will not sync. And I can't do anything to change that time so I
just have to live 7 minutes behind schedule.

Yippee, I saw there was an update to fitbit in playstore this morning, I installed it and now all is working as it should! At least so far so good

I also went to Play Store and did the update and yes my Fitbit charge 6 is now syncing and working properly thank you Google

Installed 4.28.3 and my Versa 3 now syncs again, but I have lost the 10 days of day from when it wasn't working.

The .3 update finally solved my not pairing issue. That is about all the graciousness I have. Two weeks to clean up a mess they made does not warrant more.

I'm still having issues with my Fitbit not syncing. Any updates?

What app version are you using?  Have you checked the Play Store for updates to the Fitbit app?
App version 4.28.3 fixed the pairing and syncing issues for most users.

Please make sure that you have the latest app version ( Android 4.28.3) . If after the installation you are still having difficulties, try turning your phone (off/on) again

It appears the Play Store still has version 4.28.1 as the update. How do I
go about getting the newer update?

@wattss , Thank you for checking and confirming the app version you have installed. 

In the next few days should the 4.28.3 version on your Play Store be available. 
It happens that for some users the updates tend to be released a bit later than others.

Hi, @wattss , welcome, touch your icon in the top right corner of the Fitbit app in the "Today" screen on your phone>help>it's near the bottom "App Version".
