Fitbit charge 6 won't download ecg pdf. I tried deleting app cache. Reinstalling Fitbit app.turnimg blue tooth off and on. Hard restart of phone and watch. It shows the pdf ready to download but when I try it just gets stuck. I have a Motorola phone with Android 12. It was previously working with a charge 5 that died. I also made sure all the permissions are on.

A Fitbit update just dropped in the Play Store which updates the app to 4.28 and unfortunately it has not addressed the issue of ECGs being impossible to download or share. I was so hopeful for a second there. 😪
This is mission critical for some of us and I don't understand why ECGs are just about the only data Fitbit doesn't make available in the cloud through the online dashboard.

Hello @Flybit
That's a great suggestion, although it will have to be a different option since the on-line dashboard was retired.

I no longer can get a pdf when I run an ecg. Nothing appears in Notifications tab. I've updated the app today (version 48) on my Galaxy 24+ and restarted my Charge 6. Also tried restarting my phone and turning Bluetooth off and on. Still no luck. It worked for a while in September

Hello @DaPash
Which version of Android do you have on your phone?
So far, we're seeing the issue with phones on Android 11 and 12.

"My Galaxy S24+ has Android version 14"
If that doesn't get Fitbit to fix this nothing will 🙂

And now I'm having problems with the oxygen sensor again. I've had no SpO2 readings for 4 of the last 5 days.

Has anyone had success correcting problems like these by uninstalling the corresponding app in Gallery and then reinstalling. I'm reluctant to try that for fear of having the app disappear from Gallery as an option.

Another update to the Fitbit app dropped in the Play Store today which brings it to version 4.28.1
Still no fix for the ECG downloads though 🤕

Same to me. ECG PDF download hangs. Customer care team unable to solve the issue for more than one month now. Interesting that I'm in good company here.

Hello @Flybit
Thank you for letting us know that version 4.28.1 didn't fix the ECG pdf issue. I was hoping against hope that this version had the fix. 😢

My Charge 6 is on 4.28.1 and my Galaxy S24+ runs on Android 14. But I continue to have no access to ecg pdf for download. To add to the problem list I also have no SpO2 readings for 5 of the last 7 nights and I'm getting random heart rate spikes, up to 210 today, that are not confirmed when I check with a Kardia Mobil or a PulseOx. We don't seem to be making progres
s on solving these issues.

Do we know if anyone has success with downloads of their ecg? If so, what software versions are they running on a Charge 6 and an Android phone?

Well, I relented, took a chance, and, it paid off!
I uninstalled the Fitbit app and after several tries installing old versions of the app, I found the last working version without this bug (4.25.2 from Sept. 11), installed it and lost no data whatsoever. The app even kept my old settings! 😁
The irony that the last working version of the Fitbit app dropped on 9/11 isn't lost on me 😉
Here are the steps I took to get this working:
1. Set my Play Store settings to not update apps automatically.
2. Uninstalled Fitbit 4.28.1
3. Consulted list of older Fitbit versions on the Mirror's website.
4. Downloaded Fitbit version 4.25.2 on my phone.
5. Installed the the Mirror Installer from the Play Store
6. The Installer automatically found the Fitbit 4.25.2 file.
7. Installed and signed into the Fitbit app with my Google account.
8. Joy !!!
Keep in mind that until the Fitbit issue gets resolved, you'll have to keep the Play Store settings to not automatically update apps, which means you'll have to manually update your other apps once in a while.
While this worked for me without losing any previous data, it doesn't mean it will work for everyone so you're warned.
