Charge HR no longer found by Android phone

All of a sudden my Android phone cannot find my Charge HR. I have both the Location & Blue tooth on. I've tried having both the all day sync on or not. I've tried having the WiFi or 4G connection on. I've tried all sorts but for 3days now I have not been able to sync my my phone & Charge HR - it just says it cannot find it!

@Popcorn1980meHave you tapped your Bluetooth icon in Android Settings to see if there is a link showing your Bluetooth Devices.? There was one case yesterday where that was the problem. For some reason the pairing had disappeared.  I renamed my Blaze link to Blaze because I have other Bluetooth devices that only show the mac address.

Also are there an Apple products close by.? A few of us have found that may interfere, we don't know why.  My wife's iPad was an issue in my house if it were close.

Occasionally WiFi on my Android causes the ! while trying to sync.  So that is off until I need to update a string of Apps.

I also need Always Connected set to on ...in Devices, Blaze..... etc

@Colinm39 Thanks for the advice. I had tried all that and we have no iPads or Apple devices in our house. I know a rarity ha ha ha.

I've been force to resorting to a factory reset & removing the device from my phone. Then going back through reconnecting it which seems to be fine.

I was given the option of making the Charge HR a recognised device for my Android phone but I couldn't work out how to do that and I needed to charge my Fit it as all this faffing around had flattened it. That said it's now on plugged in so I'm yet to find out if this has resolved the issue.

Fingers crossed!

I am having the exact same problem.  It was fine yesterday morning, now the Charge HR does not exist.  Is yours working now?  I may chane to a Garmin - tired of this happening with Fitnit.

Hi @LHatch_29

Yes removing my Charge HR from my device list and doing a factory reset on my Charge HR seems to have solved the "Not Found" issue BUT !!!!!   its glitchy!

Annoyingly it now takes several attempts before it finds and uploads the data collected at the end of the day.

I dont leave it continuously connected as it flattens the battery way to quickly.

I think FitBit need to look into this issue and solve it, its extremely frustrating and I dont want to find that Ive got to do this again, i cannot imagine it would be good to the device.

Yes, Android app and Fitbit Blaze also very unreliable.

Once I've had to clear the cache partition to be able to re-discover/pair the Blaze with Fitbit app.

You can try that next time if you have problems.

I was able to resolve my issue but cutting my Fitbit HR off. I didn't even
know that was possible. You plug in the charger, and then hold down the
button for at least 10-12 seconds, and the Fitbit turns off. Then when I
turned it back on, again, I just pressed the button, it was able to be
found, and sync took place. No problem since then, but it was only 3 days
ago.

@LHatch_29, the process you describe Restarts your Charge HR, which forces it to reload the software/firmware, it shut off the tracker. But, restarting it is good.

Yes -- thank you, it was a re-start. The good thing was that it worked,
and I was able to sync again.
