Charge Hr won't sync or connect to Bluetooth

I recently tried syncing my charge and it will not sync. The last time it has synced was on Tuesday and for whatever reason it won't connect to the Bluetooth and sync. It keeps saying "unable to locate device". I stats do not update and the date remains the same. This is a major issue because I'm in the middle of a steps challenge which ends on the 22nd and I need to sync my steps.

After chatting with a fitbit employee, it still didn't work. I un paired my
device from Bluetooth then hooked it back up and it's syncing fine now. My
husband found how to re-pair with Bluetooth on reddit.

Do u know if this is due to an update issue? I just can't tell. I'm assuming it's a software issue if other people r having the same problem. I'm just worried that my device is defective or my phone's Bluetooth isn't working. I'm stuck at work so I can't troubleshoot to see if it syncs with another device. But if other people r having the same problem then it's not me

Thanks a lot. That actually did the trick. Unfortunately I lost my data for 3 of the last 5 days but at least I got it to sync again. Thanks

Hi there @tbruce26 and @notoyaarthur, let me give you a warm welcome and I was just realizing the hard time both of you had with the syncing issues of your tracker.

Although I'm glad to hear with your solution @tbruce26 both were able to sync.

If you have lost part of your numbers due to this issue, remember that you can manually add an activity to average the steps for the days you lost. It wouldn't be the same, but it will be a workaround to recover those days.

  1. From the main page, tap "Track Exercise"
  2. Tap the Stopwatch icon at the top-right
  3. Switch from "Track" to "Log" using the toggle at the top of the screen
  4. Choose the activity you'd like to log from the list, or create your own
  5. Fill out the details and submit the log

See you around and let me know if you have additional questions.

Welcome aboard the Fitbit Community @Barb1973 and @Chloe124. Its been a few days since you updated this thread and I'm wondering how it goes?

If the issue still persists in your case @Barb1973, you can try to paired your tracker again. For more instructions this post will guide you through.

@Chloe124 have you tried the other recommendations from this thread? Also I would like to know more details in specific of what information you are not able to see. Not all the scenarios are identical and this information is key to know more about the issue.

See you until the next one!
