Hi @Stephaniedeterm. Did you buy this new from a retail seller? Or did you possibly buy it used from an individual or smaller, independent business? Did your Charge HR come sealed in the original packaging?
You’ve probably done this already but open the Fitbit app on your phone. Open settings then go to Heart rate. Your choices should be On, Auto and off. (Tap here for more detail.). Set your Charge HR to On or Auto and that should do it.
If this does not do it, contact your seller. It almost sounds like you received an older model Charge that does not have the HR feature.
