Charge not Syncing each few Days

At least 3 times a week my charge 3 needs to be resynced to my Samsung 9. It takes about half an hour of restarting both devices and constantly turning Bluetooth on and off.

Getting frustrated

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing all of the things that you have tried to get your Fitbit working correctly.

 

To better understand the situation I'd like to ask you some questions:

  • What Android version is it that you are using?
  • Do you get some sort of error message?

If you are using Android 9, please try turning off background and battery limitations. Go to Phone settings > Apps & Notifications > Fitbit app > Background restrictions or Background limits.

 

Then, disable battery limitations:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Advanced > Battery > Battery optimization
  2. Change view to All apps
  3. Search for Fitbit app
  4. Choose Not optimized

It is possible that it can help in case your phone has Android 9.
