Clock style input for log previous exercise

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just switched to Android from Windows Phone and I really don't like this clock style input for inputting previous exercises.  It's clunky and I often end up having to play with the hands too much to get the input just right.  Is there another way to input start/duration times?  The interface on the Windows version was much more straightforward...

Hey, @nradtke! Welcome to the Forums! Are you referring to the little stops watch at the upper right corner on the activities section?

At the moment this is the only option to log previous exercise, however when you want to record a live activity you can do it by tapping on the plus sign at the lower right corner of the main page of the Fitbit App and then select activities like shown below. This option to me seems a little easier than the other one.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and feedback with us, this is what has been helping us in the past to give you a better experience with the App. Heart

Let me know if this is what you are referring to or if you meant something else. 🙂

Actually, I was referring to the following clock when actually entering a previous exercise

This method of having to drag hands to set the time instead of either a list (like Windows Phone) or just having the ability to type it makes it unnecessarily complicated in favor of a neat look.

Hey, hey, @nradtkeCat Very Happy Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. I do agree with you that the other way of doing it was more simple and maybe easier. However this was changed by our web engineers to make it more interactive, aesthetic and fun.

I think it would be cool to have both options available, this is why I encourage you to post this idea on our Feature Suggestions board. After you post it, you can share the link here so everyone that participates in this thread can vote for it!

See you around! 😉
