Hello @CRChinita.

Thanks for sharing that screenshot and trying to reinstall the app several times.

Given that you are not running a VPN, it could be that your IP was banned by Cloudflare themselves. Could you try connecting with a different internet connection? For example, if you are using your mobile data try to connect via WiFi, or vice-versa.

Additionally, please verify that you are not using some sort of firewall and if you are, try turning it off.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Amazingly enough within hours of my post, suddenly everything worked again after a reinstall (my 4th attempt)!!  😁  Have no idea why or how but I am not complaining.

Glad to read that everything is working correctly now!

It could be that it was an error from the hosting of the website or that some issues were being worked on.

Thanks for the response!!  My problem seems to have solved itself but I have no idea how!!!  I am now having different issues.  My Fitbit is syncing only when it wants to and is not syncing my sleep at all.    I am sure this too shall pass!!  In the interim, I shall keep cuddling with it.  Keeps me busy, right???   LOL  Feliz Navidad y Feliz Año Nuevo!

I do not have a firewall on nor do I have a VPN on my phone. How can I get my fitbit to work and sync while I am not accessible to WiFi?

I have the Surge and I am frustrated to say the least. Is this something that can be fixed or should I just pitch the Fitbit in 2019?

I cannot even login to the site from my phone without the Cloudfare message. What should I do?

I had the same problem, not once but twice within a couple of months apart.  Like you, I had no firewall or VPN.  I uninstalled and installed 4 or 5 times as it was on both my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Samsung A8 phone and I could not even access the website on either.   Both times after emailing and within a few days, the problem solved itself.  I know that doesn't help and I do know first hand how frustrating it is.  It took about a week each time before it just started working again.

Hello @lotr_an.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for trying to connect through mobile connection and sharing how long it has been going on for.

I'd like to ask you to confirm if the situation has continued since your post or if you have been able to sue it through WiFi?

I look forward to your reply.

Hi LanuzaFitbit. Nevertheless, the problem persists. Now i was forced to switch to mobile network to answer You as 1006 error is not letting me to enter fitbit site.

While i am home and on wifi my fitbit app is loged out and Versa is not syncing.

Reinstalling app do not work.

The same problem is with my computer - access to fitbit is denied due to 1006 problem. So, i presume problem is with my internet provider as my ip is banned by Cloudflare.

As you will be able to tell from my previous posts, what you are experiencing has happened to me twice.  Both times for periods of a week, more or less.  I did the same things as you with both my Samsung A8 cell and my Microsoft Surface Pro 4.  I rebooted, uninstalled, installed, connected and paired, disconnected more times than you could count.   Spent many hours in a frustrated state. You name it, I tried it on both devices.  For absolutely no reason and certainly not because of any actions I did, it began working again.  I also have my Fitbit connected to the MyFitnessPal which just added to the difficulty for a non-techie kind of person like me.  Now that it is working again, I have Fitbit app installed only on my cellphone and have a shortcut on my toolbar but it is not installed on the tablet.  It has been good since my last "freak out"!  LOL  Good luck!!
