I have had a fitbit for several years and my wife just got one. How can I connect both of them so that we each can get all the information?

Each user needs separate Fitbit account with different emails.
The best way is if you have a separate sync device, phone or tablet for each.
If only one sync device, you have to log out of your account and create a separate account for your wife. Then you will have to keep logging out of one account and into the other one.

I am attempting to set up a Charge 2 on a Samsung s6 phone. The phone cant find it. I tried the set up on my s8 phone that has a versa paired and it could find it. But if I try to set it up on that phone it mixes up the 2 fitbits. Why wont it work on the s6 phone?

I have written before but have not received much help. I have a versa connected to my samsung 8. Works fine. My wife received a charge 3 and I have been trying to set it up on her phone a samsung 6. We are in the same line with two separate numbers. I cant set her fitbit up. I get to the point of "try again" and can get no further. I cant set hers up on my phone be cause it then picks up my activity. What can I do?

Hi @GRC1530 your three threads were merged together so you can get your responses in one place. You have had help from both a member of the Community Council @JohnnyRow and from Fitbit Moderator @RicardoFitbit so you have had people trying to assist you.
When you try to set your wife up, turn off your own phone and get your device out of range.

I don't understand "in the same line with two separate numbers." I have heard of having phone set-up so one number can be reached by an outside calling 2 different numbers, but this sound like the opposite: someone call call your number but it might get routed to either of your two phone numbers.
Please explain further.

When you tried connecting her fitbit to your phone, are you sure you were using 2 separate fitbit accounts/email, and logging out of one account and then into the other to see each dataset?

Do you mean just using her email instead of mine when I try to connect to
my phone? I would rather if possible connect to her phone.
I understand that, but in recent posts, you were also talking about what happens when you tried using your phone for both. So I was trying to understand that situations first.
So now I'm getting confused just trying to understand which situation you are talking about. It doesn't help to be intermixing both situations.
To try to make sense of your situation, I think we need to first go back to the beginning and define which situations we are talking about - one phone or two, and explain anew what is happening in that case.

Thanks for your replies and the details that were shared @GRC1530, my apologies for the delay in responding your post.
Thanks for the details that were shared with us and for your patience with this situation. If you would like to setup your wife's Fitbit device, please follow the steps that were shared on my previous post. Such information includes the step-by-step instructions to setup a Fitbit device and if you experience difficulties with this process (meaning that the mobile device of your wife cannot find the Fitbit), please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified there.
If you continue experiencing difficulties with this process, please try to setup the Fitbit device with another mobile device. Please make sure that your phone and Fitbit devices are not nearby during the setup process of your wife's Fitbit to avoid Bluetooth interference.
@Odyssey13 @JohnnyRow Thanks for your support. 🙂
I'll be around. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
