If your phone is not compatible that's the reason why you are having problems with this feature. If it is compatible, I suggest turning off and on this feature. To turn off this, you just need to tap the tracker's tile > Tap call and text notifications > Turn it off. After this, check this article and confirm you are doing those steps to enable the notifications.
