Connection difficulties with notifications feature

I've had my Fitbit HR for 3 months or so. I have a Samsung A10e. It's been working great up until recently. I can't exactly pinpoint when but in the last 1-2 weeks I've stopped receiving text message notifications and phone calls. I don't use notifications for any other app. I've done lots of tests texts. Basically if its within arms reach I'll get  notifications, if it's just a few feet farther I won't. I use to receive them from different floors! I recently updated the firmware which I hoped would help but it didn't.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled fitbit app, restarted my phone, ensure notifications are switched on. My bluetooth is working normal with other devices.

Forgot to add...when I go to my notifications in fitbit it says  "notification service not running, restart phone", which I've done as well. Notification keeps appearing

Hi @Nh87, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. It seems that this connection issue is because of the Bluetooth range of your mobile device, therefore and if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured.

After verifying the, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. Thanks for your effort and patience troubleshooting this matter prior to posting.

Keep in mind that your mobile device isn't listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience some connection difficulties with it.

I'll be around, let me know if you have any additional questions.

I seem to have all the appropriate set notifications enabled. I wasn't aware my device wasn't compatible until I started doing some research. I just find it odd that it was working 100% fine for the first couple months and now is not suddenly. I'm not sure what else to do.

Your update is appreciated @Nh87, sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for taking into consideration the steps that were shared in your post. As it turns out, when it comes to a non-compatible device, we cannot ensure that all your Fitbit features will work as expected and as the way they were designed due to Android and Fitbit app updates. That being said. can you please try with a compatible device instead so we can determine that this compatibility concern is what's causing the notifications issue?

Please keep me posted.
