Continuing problems with the app

Well... you didn't let me down ....you did just what I said you would do...close the thread just like the previous one!!!

Total disregard for peoples problems with the new app and no solutions offered.

Quite frankly appalling customer service.

Well I'm done....

So long fitbit

Only hope other disappointed customers follow my lead and leave you in the big hole you appear to be digging for yourselves...

From my time here, I've learned that patience is generally rewarded. Change isn't easy for everyone and although I like the new app, not everyone does. Sorry you're unhappy.

You're missing my point completely...I.have no problem with change
providing its works and is for the best...
There are clearly major problems with new update and I am not the only
person who isn't happy....
To be honest find the tone of your enail a little condescending...I dont
need to click to see the TOS thank you
I and I suspect many people just want a device that works....and the fact
that is doesn't...and the reason is out of our control just fuels the
fire....
Glad you're happy though....at least they have one satisfied customer....

When you say update, which update are you referring to @LouR30. Is it the Fitbit app Ver 3.5?

Or is it the new User Interface. 

 

I can not comment on which thread was closed since i see no reference to the subject of the issue at hand.

Hello @LouR30 , welcome back to the Community!  Thank you for feedback regarding the new app dashboard ! We really appreciate it. I've read the comment from our friend Odyssey13, and I don't think  the tone is condescending.  She was just pointing some information out. 

If you referring to the thread, regarding the feedback to the new app dashboard, it was recently closed, as we have gathered all the feedback and information needed to improve our products. Fitbit takes every comment and feedback very seriously and appreciate every constructive feedback. 

If you are experiencing any situation with your app and your Fitbit device, please elabore it so that we can have a look at it and we'll be glad to help you further. 

Just keep in mind, that there are no plans to revert to the old dashboard.  We understand that it might take a bit to get used to the new one and its features but with the time, you'll find it very appealing. 

Please keep me posted.

I agree why do you have to make changes when it's not broken! Someone probably gets a bonus for a new update  Not thinking about the people that it's going to affect! I had NO problems with my Fitbit until I was told that I needed to download the update! I hate it!

At the risk.of repeating myself as I've already  said on two previously closed threads it doesn't work....

It cant find my device, it wont sync, count steps, monitor my sleep...it worked perfectly before the new update.

Done every trouble shooting exercise going and nothing...

To be told I need to buy a new device or even a new phone is ridiculous...

It just seems as customers our concerns are just been ignored

I don't want to change I was perfectly happy with my fit bit before, but I don't think that to want a device that lets me know where I am step wise during the day and lets me know how I'm sleeping (like it used to) is a lot to.ask..

I'm finding the same, my surge has not connected with the app for 2 days now, I keep taking my watch off and then re-starting up, uninstalled the app and pre-installed, they find each other for a few steps and then it stops working again. Claire xx

Mine hasn't synced properly since 30 August! The only reason I've stuck with it is because I have an older version on my kindle which works and then my phone app does update...no good when you're away from home...

Am quite happy to play with the new app even though I'm not that keen on the new layout but fail to see how I can do that when it doesn't work properly....

So frustrating
