Hello @JC2109, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, your effort and patience with this situation are appreciated. If you unchecked the auto-recognize SmartTrack feature, your exercise will not be detected by your device, if applicable, you'll need to select the exercise directly from your device. That said, can you please let me know which Fitbit and mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then?

Keep in mind that your device will use your mobile device GPS chip to route your exercise, therefore, the battery of your mobile device will be used a lot due to the constant communication with your Fitbit and the Bluetooth.

Looking forward to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.

thanks for the reply. I am using Fitbit Charge 3 running on Samsung S10e.

if I remember correctly above message keeps recurring since last week end
and drained my phone battery fast.

It was frustrating as I cant find anyway to turn it off. I thought it was
due to auto recognition exercise so I turned it off unfortunately this
cannot track my walk exercise.

After meddling with notification (not sure is this the issue) the message
gone thanks goodness!

if there anything I should try in case this come back please let me know
thanks!
