Creating custom meals in Fitbit app when online dashboard closes

I wondered if the feature to create custom meals were going to be added to the app before the online dashboard closes or will this be yet more features that have been lost since the Google take over making it harder for people to track easily.

This feature has been asked for for years. This reply is pretty ridiculous considering that editing and creating custom meals is possible in the iPhone app and WAS IN THE DASHBOARD YOU SHUT DOWN.

@N0_ah Thanks for your reply and feedback. It is indeed an old suggestion. However, now that the dashboard is no longer active, this opens the possibility for this to be implemented on the app. We shall see which features from the online dashboard are implemented into the Fitbit app; hopefully this and many more.

The board above is the best place to make your voice heard. The suggestions with more votes are taken into consideration by our developers for new updates or product development.

@RodrigoMFitbit this is most bizzare development process I have ever seen. I'd expect porting features of dashboard into the app BEFORE deprecating the dashboard... but hey, that's Fitbit we're talking.

Fitbit was pretty bad at taking any suggestions, but I had hoped that Google would be better. Nope. They have a captive audience and don't seem to care what we want. The Android app continues to be less useful with each release, and now with the elimination of the dashboard, it's worse yet. No new meals. How idiotic. I like my Fitbit, but will have to look elsewhere when this one dies, unless they start improving the app instead of making it worse. Not much hope, though. Very sad.
