Does fitbit take steps registered within the "Shelf" app on android? Example: 

I have 3975 steps on the shelf app and 8647 steps registered on the fitbit app. If I walk 10 steps without my Fitbit, I will have 3985 on the shelf app and 8657 steps on fitbit - but if I walk with both, does it then count double?

Hello @Nickox and welcome to the Community.  I moved your post to the Android app forum.  It might be a better fit for your question.  I use an iPhone and I don't see this app in the App Store.  I hope a fellow Android user can help you.
