Crossing the International Date Line has messed up my counts

Just got back from New Zealand, and the fitbit 2 has gone a little crazy.  It went from over 12000 to 8000 while I was walking through LAX, then lost another 1000 while walking through DIA.  It was at10029 when I took it off last night to sync, and this morning, it seems I did  8000 steps in my sleep.  Anyone else have a similar problem?

@Nicsmom A warm welcome to our Community!

I will gladly assist you with your inquiry. This happens since you are constantly changing dates during your trip. This will make the system assigned the steps to different days and this is the confusion. You could log a driving activity to negate steps but I am not sure if it will work in this situation.

Let me know how it goes.
