Hello,
While using my calories counter I decided to manually define my food plan by the option available either on the website and on the iphone app - but not on the android app.
So, i manually set the amount of calories that I want to take daily. Fine.
The website dashboard still presents me the food tile as presented in the picture below:
So far, everything is fine. When entering my android app, that is what i found:
On the app it completely removed the intake calories dounter or food plan option and just offers me to create a food plan from the fitbit options.
Is this the normal behavior? Is this expected?
If yes, this is a shame, my food plan option should not affect on what I see on the android app. I could see that this option is available on the ios app. So, if this is "feature" just for ios a, this is app "BUG" for android app because I don't like the plans offered by fitbit and i am aware enough to have my own plan - which does not mean that i dont want to see my intake calories on my android app.
Looking forward to an answer 🙂
Thanks in advance!
Leonardo

@lhdamiani welcome to the Community! As @SunsetRunner mentioned thank you for bringing this up.
If you have already set your food plan on the dashboard this should update on your Android App without you having to set it up again, and the tiles should reflect that not offer you to establish a food plan again. Can you attempt logging out of the Fitbit app (go to the 3 lines on the top left corner of the app and select the option "log out") and logging back in. To make 100% sure the app restarted you can also restart the Android device before logging back in.
Let me know if this helps. See you soon!

Dear @SunsetRunner, thanks for your answer!
Unfortunately it didn't work. I even uninstalled the app and installed it again, to make sure that there was nothing on my phone that would be 'old'.
It stills offer me to create a nutrition plan just like the print screen you can see on my original post.
What I would like to add, that maybe wasn't clear on my original post, is it even possible to create a custom food plan via the Android app? At least, I could not find this option on my app - I tried using my wife's iPhone to find out if that option was available there and the answer is positive. Through the ios is possible to create a custom food plan - on the other hand, with the android app it is not possible.
Since I created my custom food plan with the dashboard (website) i really have my questions if the android app has the understandment that I do not have a nutrition plan from the offered because I created my own by setting manually how many calories I want to be my "total" per day.
@SunsetRunner do you have a custom food plan and you have it displayed correctly on your android app?
The thing is, I know i can hide the "offer" for the fitbit's nutrition plans, but i really would like to see how many calories I have consumed until that moment of the day over the total that i manually defined. That information is quite basic and necessary.
Thanks for your help and hopefully you can offer me another thing to try...
Regards,
Leonardo

@lhdamiani hi! I actually tweaked with my account to set a food plan on the Dashboard to see what showed on the Android app and the changes showed there. Otherwise I haven't tried doing it from the app itself but the changes where reflected. I think this is as @SunsetRunner was saying a bug with the App, so contacting the Support team as @SunsetRunner suggested might be the best course of action here.

Im encountering the same thing. I would prefer to set my own calorie limit instead of the deficit style plan. My girlfriend has an iphone and can do this no problem. Is there some type of way can?

Hi SolangeE,
I tried to click the link but it says: Sorry, you don't have permission to access this page.
This is despite me being logged in. Do you know whether the page still exists? or is there another place to find the information. I basically want to create a plan with custom calories, fat carbs and protein.
Thank you,
Carl
