Had Fitbit versa for a couple of months and just today even after sync not recording hourly steps or active minutes

Thanks for bringing this up. Let me help you figure out what is going on and way to move forward.

 

The very first thing I'd like to recommend is that you try to log out of your account and then log back in. That will force all data to be downloaded from the servers once again and to display the accurate numbers for everything.
