Delete Friend to Clear Messages?

Hi All,

 

I can't seem to find a solution to this anywhere and it's really frustrating.

 

I had an old friend send some really innappropriate messages and there is no way of deleting them.

 

Will deleting the friend remove the messages?? So stupid that there is no way to do this.

Hello @adrian.8020 @Odyssey13. Thanks for taking a break from stepping to visit the Community. Like @Odyssey13 there is actually no option to delete those messages. I would like to add, as a workaround only, if you don't want to see them when you click the comment button, you could ask a friend to message you something different several times. This will hide the previous comments.

Those messages will automatically be deleted after thirty days. There is no other way to get them deleted, even if you delete the friend.

 

Maybe a moderator will see this and offer any alternative response for you.
