When is Fitbit going to update the notifications on the application, it is annoying to constantly get notifications from old messages. I am ready to stop using Fitbit for this reason.

Hi @Voidedlime. It's good to see you here in the forums.

Thanks for letting me know that the Fitbit app keeps showing old notifications. While those notifications should be deleted after 30 days or when you receive new notifications, currently we don't have an option to manually delete them from the Fitbit app. I'm sorry for that you're going through this experience and your feedback is truly appreciated. Our team constantly works on the app to improve its features based on the comments shared in the forums, and I'm sure yours won't go unnoticed.

Notifications problems in the Fitbit app needs to be improved on soon. I have ceased posting because i don't want to be receiving notifications for weeks and weeks from old messages, since there is no way to delete or control the post within the message. Also i don't need to know the someone has posted today who hasn't posted in a long while. Fitbit needs to really improve on its app.

Hi @Voidedlime. I'm glad to see you again and I'm sorry for the delay.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this situation. I understand your point of view about not having an option to delete your previous notifications. As mentioned above, our team regularly reviews the comments posted in the forums to implement improvements on our products and services based on that.

In the meantime, let me suggest to check this idea requested in the Feature Suggestions board which has been marked as "Under Consideration". Don't forget to add your vote as the more votes an idea receives, the better chance it has of getting the attention of the developers.

I have 2 year old notifications and cannot delete them except one at at time.  Haven't had a new notification for over a year.  How can I correct this?

Hi @Bonetex. Welcome. It's great to see a new face around.

Thanks for sharing that you're having issues with the in-app notifications. Let me explain that you're now able to delete conversations by opening the Fitbit app, tapping on the notifications icon at the upper right corner and swiping to the right. If this isn't happening, I'd recommend to log out from the Fitbit app, update the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, log back into the app and try deleting the notifications one more time.

About your other question, to continue receiving notifications please make sure of the following:

  1. Go to the Fitbit app and tap on your profile icon.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Notifications.
  3. Turn off all the notifications. Then turn back on the notifications that you want to receive.
