Hi @Anita911, welcome to the Community Forums! Thanks for your post.
I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that the Bluetooth connection of your new Charge 3 is behaving in such way. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? Did you tried using mobile data instead of WiFi? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps:
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
- Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
- Reboot your mobile device.
- Reinstall the Fitbit app.
- Login using your account credentials.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Since updating to28.20001.88.11 my phone goes through a strange sequence connecting to my home wifi.
It connects , then goes to 'wifi in range but not connected', then 'no wifi to connect to', then 'connected' again - it then stays connected. This didn't before this update.
I am using a Motorola G7 Power.
I have tried your suggestions following discovery of this post - no change.
