Difficulties with syncing and notifications

Amazing how fast the mods come around to zap something but are never around to provide actual help, like why my fitbit charge 2 can no longer show phone calls or text messages and no longer syncs with phone app.

 

Am I the only one that finds the mods behavior curious.  Its like they do not care.  It is almost like the words customer service mean nothing.  mods, please provide a full response as to why these no longer work with the new app.  I do not expect to get a response and, in fact, expect this post to be edited/deleted.

I have a Fitbit Charge 2 and have a Moto X Pure running Android 7.

It worked until the new app.
