I just purchased a fitbit charge 2 and it isn't compatable with my LG g7 thinq.  I am unable to get notifications which is part of the reason I purchased this.  I see that many people with the same phone have commented but there has been no change to comparability. This is not an old phone and I don't see why it can't be checked by fitbit tech and made compatable.  I am so disappointed I may return the fitbit.

You could try the following: [if (1) does not work try (2) ]:

1) Install this app and see if it works with your phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hu.czandor.fitbitsyncfix&hl=en

 

2) Try the earlier version of the Fitbit app 2.90. Google "Fitbit app 2.90 mirror" (without the quotes) and install that version. Before that, make sure you have gone into Android settings -> Apps. There, find the app and delete Cache / Data and then uninstall. Reboot your phone and install the 2.90 version.
