Hello All!
Recently started running, but keep having trouble connecting the Fitbit to my Android Mobile GPS to end up with a tidy map in the end (i.e. I have data, but no GPS track & data most of the time) - therefore, I decided to turn on the run tracker in the app directly and at the same time activate the run exercise on the Fitbit. Now, as I look at the data, there seems to be a huge discrepancy between the two:
Any ideas why this might be happening? Also, if I do both, I think the calories get added on to the daily total for both, right? Thank you for any insights! 🙂 Cheers ~ Max

Hello @JaxMax welcome to the Community Forums!
I appreciate all the details that were shared in your post, I'm sorry to know that you're experiencing such difficulties with your Fitbit device. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Fitbit device you're currently using? Also, with which mobile device you're syncing your Fitbit? Are you using our SmartTrack auto-recognition feature to track your exercise or (if applicable) initiating the exercise directly from your exercise shortcuts? I recommend you to check: Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device? for more information and details about our GPS feature.
Regarding the discrepancy situation, when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Take in consideration that MobileRun was designed for those users who don't have a Fitbit device, therefore, I recommend you to track your exercises directly with your Fitbit. Please check: How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device? for more details about this.
Since you're performing the same exercise, at the same time, you'll be only credited for a single exercise in your Fitbit account. Therefore, the calories will be added on the daily total just once.
Keep me posted, I'll be around.
