Within the last 3 weeks my normal 6 mile run has been clocking up as a 5.1/2 mike run  my fit bit surge will no longer connect to the gps on my phone when I run is this connected how do I fix it.

Hi @Runmoremire, awesome to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response to your concern that the distance is not being clocking correctly in your exercise.

 

Your distance may be affected depending on how you are recording the exercise. Note that your Surge has the ability to track your GPS without the need of your phone, but the accuracy might be affected if your location has not been fix on your Surge.
