Hi Fitbit Community,

This may be an obvious question, but I couldn't find an answer on the Fitbit site:

Do I need MobileTrack installed if I have an Inspire HR that I wear all the time? Will it provide any functionality that the Fitbit app + Inspire HR do not provide?

Thanks, Duppie

There's no reason for MobileTrack when you have a Fitbit tracker.

MobileTrack is basically just a way to get step count tracked by some phones into Fitbit app.  But with Fitbit tracker getting steps directly, MobileTrack serves no purpose.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hello @Duppie and @JohnnyRow.

@JohnnyRow Thanks for being around to help!

@Duppie In this case what @JohnnyRow said is absolutely correct. There is no reason to use MobileTrack if you are wearing your Inspire HR all the time, it would only lead to issues with the step count.
