Do Not Disturb Mode: All or Nothing?

I have a Pixel 6 and a Fitbit Charge 6. During working hours, I use my phone's Do Not Disturb mode. I've customized this mode to allow certain contacts and apps to still get through and notify me. However, my Fitbit is unable to pick up on these exceptions and refuses to notify me of anything when Do Not Disturb is on my phone. It seems it's a case of all or nothing. Is there any way around this?

Hi @hamncheese - being able to customise the do not disturb feature on the phone may not be known to the Fitbit App, and as you found it is all or nothing.

However you may be able to change the notification process using a Macrodroid macro [or 2, one to turn on all and one to allow only approved ones].

By allowing only the Macrodroid app permission to ever send notifications to the watch, you can then use it to intercept and forward only the messages you want when you want.
