Do moderators actually offer any help in this forum?

Apart from "thank you for your patience", "thanks for sharing this workaround", "thanks for blah blah", I haven't seen any substantial support from Fitbit moderators on real user problems here.

This is mainly a user-to-user help forum.  Though the moderators do occasionally answer some questions, their main job is to moderate, i.e. keep order in the forums, removing offensive posts, sometimes moving posts to a different topic board where they more properly fit to get better responses, and such.  If you note the number of posts on these boards, it would be an impossible task for a few moderators to individually answer every post, not to mention many, many instances of the same question getting asked over and over.

If you have a problem and ask here, you have a good chance of getting help from another user or perhaps a  moderator, and, if not, you have the option of contacting support.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

They generally copy and paste canned responses that most have already tried before asking for help. The community, however, is usually very helpful.
