Does starting a Fitbit Premium video exercise automatically begin a workout on the watch for you?

Hello,

I'm trying to get to the bottom of this. I have a Google Pixel Watch 2. I used to have an iPhone and Apple Watch. When I started a Ftiness+ video exercise on the phone, the apple watch would automatically know the type of workout and begin a session.  With my android phone if I start a video exercise on the Fitbit app, nothing happens on my Pixel watch.  Is this the same for everyone or am I encountering a bug?

I forgot to mention also that because the watch doesn't automatically begin a session, the Fitbit app doesn't receive/show any info about heart rate and zones after the exercise has ended,

Hi, @SenselessEar welcome, the Fitbit app does not have the feature you describe but does have "Auto Recognize". In the Fitbit app on your phone touch your icon in the top right>settings>Activity & wellness>exercise>auto recognize Exercises>Touch each in turn to set "longer than" and set the on/off slider>SAVE.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
