Hi,
My fitbit alta is connected to my samsung s3 and it vibrates when there's a message but doesn't tell me who the message is from, even though their in my contacts list.
How can I know who the message is from through my Fitbit?
Thanks.

Glad you have joined us in our Fitbit Community @Tahlia. I recommend to try the following suggestions to address this issue:
2. Turn off notifications by tapping 'Notifications' in the App and turn off ll notifications.
3. Reboot your mobile device.
4. Turn notifications on by tapping Notifications in the Fitbit App and turn on notifications that you want to receive.
If the steps above don't help for some reason, I'd then recommend re-setting up notifications completely from scratch. You can do this by:
1. Unpairing your tracker from your mobile device's Bluetooth setting. This can be done by: opening your mobile settings > tap Bluetooth > and tap 'Forget' or 'Forget Device' to unpair your tracker.
2. Reboot your mobile device.
3.Turn notifications on by tapping Notifications in the Fitbit App and turn on notifications that you want to receive.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted if the issue persists.

Thank you very much for joining the family @Tahlia!
The Alta always shows the sender (as long as it is in your contacts) and a portion of the message. Since yours isn't displaying it, my best recommendation is to follow the troubleshooting steps I provide in one of my posts. That would help so the tracker can display the correct information.
