After YEARS of being a faithful Fitbit user, when my Charge 5 dies I'm done. Nothing syncs right anymore, apps that I used & loved are gone and now I can't even use tap to pay with my device. I've got close to 20 years with this brand and I'm over it.
Agreed. I just got the "black screen of death" on my Charge 5. I tried disconnecting it to reconnect - that failed - I can't enter the code to reconnect if the screen remains black. It's on the charger now, although I just charged it yesterday evening. This happened with my Charge 3 as well. I am currently charging my old Charge 2 that seems to lose time each day. Time to start looking for an alternative to fitbit after many years as a customer
I finally got my Charge 5 to charge. However, it doesn't work when it's charged, and the charge lasts no more than 2 hours. Worthless.
