Driving mode is activating automatically

Since I downloading the Fitbit app my samsung 6S continues to engage Drive mode all day. In the car or out of the car. Then synced with my Samsung tablet and now it is turning on the drive mode all day.

My smart watch is syncing Bluetooth with my phone and turning Driving mode off.

YSMatute has the solution and here are detailed instructions for the Galaxy S6.

open Message+

  tap Settings (3 horizontal bars in upper left corner of screen)

    tap "Settings"

    tap "Driving Mode"

    Look at "Paired Devices" at the bottom of the screen

        You may see your car and

         your FitBit or other smart watch.

               Turn off the FitBit / Smart Watch

I think I was able to finally fix it, thanks to your advice! I had trouble finding the settings option within the messages, but once I found it I was able to turn it off. Thank you so much, the silly driving mode reply was driving me batty!

If I sgut off bluetooth driving mode foes this also cause me to not get messages on my watch

If i do this will it no longer record data from my fitbit to my phone? Do i need to check and uncheck each day? Ugh...

No if you deactivate the drive mode in your phone settings it will work
great.

OK yes unfortunately it might take turning off your driving mode in more
places. try to reset your Blasé (this will not loose any info) press and
hold on the single button and the bottom button until you see the fitbit
symbol come on the screen.
If that does not work...
First I uninstalled my blaze then I uninstalled fitbit I turned it off on
the fitbit app also on the phone settings and on the message settings.
Here is what I found when I used google, this worked once I had done
everything else.
(I had this same issue. I found that is it actually the Verizon messages+
app and Bluetooth. Go to your messages setting, select "bluetooth detection
setup", unchecked all bluetooth devices that you do not want driving mode
turned on for. This fixed my issue with drving.mode.)



Sorry if this is confusing it is frustrating but it will work great once
this issue is stopped.

I have the Alta HR and Samsung Note 5. No matter what I try the driving
mode keeps coming on. This did not happen with the Alta but as soon as I
activated the Alta HR this problem began.

I agree it drove me nuts also the only other thing I can think of is to
reset you Fitbit itself I am not sure how to do that with the alta as i
have the blaze.

Alas, I have also reset my Fitbit HR to no avail. I wish I could return it
for a refund. I don't think I can tolerate this long term! 😞

Can the company reset it to the original settings and then do the process
over again. When I called Fitbit they set me up with a ticket number and
every time I called with the problem they pulled that up. Said if the
problem had still happened then they would get me a new one.

I'm not seeing this as an option in my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. However, if this was an option I would no longer be able to receive messages on my fitbit regarding text messages and incomming calls. I really rely on this feature and is the main reason I continue to use Fitbit.

I have tried everything suggested in this thread, turning off all places in my phone where a driving mode is an option,  uninstalling the Fitbit app and reinstalling, rebooting my Fitbit, as well as turning my phone off and on.

It may not be an option to turn off Google just the galaxy 5 and see if
there is another option. But if it is turned off you do still get your
messages
