ECG feature not showing on Pixel Watch 3

Hello it seems from what I've recently read that there are troubles with ECG feature running smoothly on Pixel 3 watches, unfortunately I can't get  the EGC feature showing on my Pixel 3 watch. I've  erased several time Pixel Watch app and fitbit app,  and reinstall both with out any successful changes.  The Fitbit app installed on the Pixel 3 phone android vs 12 says on my profile/ health assessments  that the ECG  is on and ready to use, while the phone has no icon available to start the reading.

I've got this watch mostly to use the ECG, if the issue can not be  solved I might consider to return it, too bad because I like the it very much.

What country are you located in?  The ECG app is a medically regulated feature and requires approval from your country's health authority.

Hi and thank you for the reply, I'm in Italy and I've read on the app literature that Italy is included in the countries to use Fitbit ECG .

Have you check for updates to the watch, and updates to all the apps?

I may have misread your initial post, but an ECG reading is initiated on the watch, not the phone.

Thank you for sharing with us the details about this difficulty that you are experiencing when trying to get a ECG reading. 

As @gdio53 mentioned, you can find the Fitbit ECG app on your Pixel Watch by pressing the crown and past results can be found within the Health assessments section of the You tab in the Fitbit app on your phone or tablet. can you let us know what suggestion worked for you please? I am in Malta have all the latest fitbit app as well as fitbit ecg app. reset and reconnected the watch to pixel 8 nothing brings the ecg app help appreciated 😞

According to the Fitbit ECG Help page, the app is currently not available in Malta.
