 Hi! My Fitbit versa counts as climbing stairs when inho up in an elevator. What can I do?

Take the stairs.

Sorry I just couldn't resist it.

 

I get false readings myself but my house is only about 10 feet above sea level so I think if I use a step to open a high cupboard especially after sitting down my charge 2 gets a bit over excited.
