Emerson EM756 Android Tablet and sync issue

Hello Fitbit community,

I recently joined the tablet owning community.  The first thing I did was to download the Fitbit app, only to discover that my zip won't sync.  I have tried turning on "all day sync" and bluetooth is turned on as well.

My tablet is the Emerson EM756  Android Tablet  --

Is there something I'm doing wrong or will it simply not work with this tablet?

Thanks!

It's probably an issue with the tablet - it isn't showing on the list of compatible devices at www.fitbit.com/devices

Thanks Steve --  I would ask if there's anything I can do in this case, but I am guessing not.... *not happy* but oh well,...  at least I will stop trying to get it to work...

Have you verified that Location Services is enabled on your tablet, @Fayehazel?  The new tablet is probably running Android 6.0 OS, which requires that Location Services is enabled in order to sync. I recently acquired a ZTE K88 Tablet, which is also not on the Fitbit Supported Devices list, but as soon as I enabled Location Services, it began to sync the tracker and has worked ever since.

Thanks Larry - I hadn't previously tried that -- so I gave it a try.  Alas that wasn't my issue ... still not working, but I'm happy it worked out for you
