Hi, I've been wanting to send someone a friend request for a long time, but I can't do this because I keep getting an error message in the app.
I hope you can help me further.
Greetings, Justin

Hi @DerJustin why not send your friend a direct link to your profile and they can ask you to be friends? Here is your link https://www.fitbit.com/user/9NXW58

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, well, so I haven't looked that way yet ^^ Then I'll send him my link. Would have been more relaxed if it worked via the app.

It's the fastest way I know to get a Fitbit user to be your friend. I've asked a moderator to stop by to see if they can assist you with this. You running Android 8 or higher?

@Odyssey13 Thanks for your help!
@DerJustin Welcome to the forum. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I just tried sending a friend request and did not get the 403 error message. Does this error message have text with it? I assume that your friend did not receive the error message either, since you were able to receive and accept the friend request. Am I right? Please make sure that your Fitbit app is up to date.
Regards!

Thanks for the feedback. When I want to send a request to the person with their email address or username, I always get the same error message as can be seen on the screenshot in my main post. I've only owned the app for a short time, so it will be the most current version.
