Exercise Data Disappearing from App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Samsung S20 and Versa 3. I recently discovered my exercise data spontaneously disappearing. Large swaths of days have now disappeared from my app. I exercise daily. Nearly every single day. Now, as I go back through months, it says I've worked out 3 days in October, 3 days in September, etc. I was actually looking at my exercise data one day and watched a day delete from the app right before my eyes. Explain please.

Hello @jzarzecki

There has been an on-going issue on the Fitbit side that affects our ability to see historical data. The team is aware of the issue and has been working on fixing the problem.

It seems to me to be a syncing issue between the user data on the Fitbit servers and the Fitbit app. As best as I can tell, there isn't loss of user data, we're just not able to see it in the app.

At this point, there isn't any troubleshooting steps we can recommend since the issue is on the Fitbit side. If I see any updates on the fix, I'll report back.

This has been happening ever since the "new and improved" update a few months.  Google has taken a really great app and made it unreliable and horrible.  They refuse to address or fix this.

Sure.

I notice the "edit exercise" feature is still broken. Any idea why Google isn't making this their #1 priority to fix? It's been what, like a year? 🤔😕
