'Exercise day's tile not loading

EDIT: As of Sep 9, the exercise tile is no longer pulsing grey and is once again interactive. HOWEVER, exercise sessions logged on my Fitbit device are not syncing correctly with the app (steps and zone minutes are updating but the exercise session e.g. "Workout" is not displaying and I can't see the graph of my heartrate during said exercise. Also, I am unable to view any previous weeks' exercises going back to when I set up the device. Since it appears from this thread and at least one other that many people are experiencing similar issues, I highly recommend that everyone contact support so the company sees the similar tickets and is more likely to take remedial action. The squeakier the wheel, the more grease, as they say...

Here is a screenshot of when I try to view a previous week's exercises:

Over the last couple days, I've noticed the 'Exercise days' tile on the app isn't loading. Instead of the normal text, it's just pulsing grey rectangles like it's loading, but it never loads. At first it was just the current day, but now when I go back several days, the tile isn't loading for any of the days. All the other tiles load just fine.

I've included a screenshot of what the tile looks like when it's pulsing light and dark grey.

Hi, @Skinnyrose95 welcome to the community, Try deleting & reloading the Fitbit app on your phone.

Before you start sync your Fitbit app, go to your phone settings Fitbit app>clear the cache & storage>force stop>uninstall>restart your phone>reload the Fitbit app & log into your account again & pair your Fitbit device.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Hi @Gr4ndp4 , thanks for your reply. I have tried the steps you've outlined to no avail. I am open to any other suggestions.

I have also had the same issue for 2 days, my runs aren't logging on the app but the watch says I have done "exercise" - I have tried uninstalling the app, unpairing the watch, re-pairing, refreshing several times a day... nothing! Hopefully fitbit team pick this up and can resolve...

I have same issue but also excercises werent logging on app despite heart rate and steps etc showing and the excercise showing on the watch.  I reset the watch which lost the excercises and it worked for a day and now its exactly the same. No excercises logging and the excercise days tiles not showing/loading.

Same here,  please sort this ASAP.

Exact same issue on my end - hope this gets resolved soon because it's messing up my stats 😞

I have the same issue with the blank Exercise Days tile, pulsing grey. All other data syncs fine.

I've tried all fixes, uninstalling apps, clearing cache, disconnecting Bluetooth. Frustrating! Is there a fix for this yet?

Fixed for me now. Thanks

My Exercise tile started working again yesterday. I recently noticed my Phone was not connected to the app. It said it was "Connected to a different device". I disconnected link, and reconnected phone. Phone is now connected but now I'm back to the pulsing grey boxes on my Exercise tile. What's going on?!

Does anyone from Fitbit/Google actually monitor these forums  to check for problemsor is there anywhere that shows a service status to ackowledge/indicate there is an issue.  I have raised a support case two days ago but there is no indication that anything is happening with it.

Good question, I'm not sure. I thought the issue was fixed but the exercise tile is not working again today

Hello @Sagterb @Furchie @Skinnyrose95 @vbr0wn @gavdi

Some users have reported that their exercise data returned. Other users have reported that their data appeared, then disappeared again.

I suspect there's an issue on the back end/server side. They could be still working on it and it could take another day or so for everything to get fixed for everyone.

I'll report back if I learn of an update.
