EDIT: As of Sep 9, the exercise tile is no longer pulsing grey and is once again interactive. HOWEVER, exercise sessions logged on my Fitbit device are not syncing correctly with the app (steps and zone minutes are updating but the exercise session e.g. "Workout" is not displaying and I can't see the graph of my heartrate during said exercise. Also, I am unable to view any previous weeks' exercises going back to when I set up the device. Since it appears from this thread and at least one other that many people are experiencing similar issues, I highly recommend that everyone contact support so the company sees the similar tickets and is more likely to take remedial action. The squeakier the wheel, the more grease, as they say...
Here is a screenshot of when I try to view a previous week's exercises:
Over the last couple days, I've noticed the 'Exercise days' tile on the app isn't loading. Instead of the normal text, it's just pulsing grey rectangles like it's loading, but it never loads. At first it was just the current day, but now when I go back several days, the tile isn't loading for any of the days. All the other tiles load just fine.
I've included a screenshot of what the tile looks like when it's pulsing light and dark grey.
This exact thing is happening to me today! Even though 2 days ago the issue seemed to be fully resolved and was working fine. Now I have to add a random activity on the Fitbit app on my phone for the actual recorded exercise to push thru from the watch!! What in the world is going on Fitbit??
Best AnswerSee what happens if you add an activity manually using the app on the date you had recorded an activity on the watch - mine will then pull thru exercise from the watch!! So random
Best Answer@martinadon exactly the same here!
Well, 90% of the time.
But still not good enough, the Pixel is in the drawer and I'm not investing in a PW3.
Best AnswerSame. I've had a fitbit product for a decade. I'm due for both phone and watch upgrades. I was thinking about pulling the trigger on a pixel watch 3 (I'm using pixel 1) but then this nonsense happened. Like I said above, manually logging every day just to pull in data that's clearly already there is not sustainable.
Best AnswerThis reply was more than a month ago. My Exercise Days are still not appearing on the app. That are is greyed out.
When will this be resolved?
Best AnswerThis is beyond ridiculous especially for service that is subscription based.
I just did a peloton workout and while the exercise tile is fine, the workout fails to appear or accounted for in Fitbit and now pixel watch sync error is back!
Being somewhat of a need, this has to do something with the API!
Fitbit/Google come on. Can we please get an update on this or have it resolved?
Has anyone updated to 4.27 and seen improvement on this bug? I'm still waiting for the update to be available for me. Randomly my workout on Monday synced but today's did not. I'm over this.
Best AnswerI received the update today and I'm still missing a significant portion of my historical exercise data. Google themselves seem to refuse to acknowledge this is an actual issue, I've only seen it from Fitbit moderators here in the forums. They're really driving Fitbit into the ground and it's a shame to see.
Best AnswerMine has done the same and likewise im very happy to see data from Peloton again, only a month without it..
What i notice is if i have the "show data from Health Connect on Today" option selected no data syncs or show any excercise including Peloton so i just sync from the bike instead and leave the app unconnected.
Maybe they will fix that in 4.28 !
Best AnswerUpdated to 4.27.
Still not working. It worked for a little bit. It seemed to stop working when I added MyFitnessPal to my watch.
The Exercise days are back
Best AnswerSame here. Worked briefly for a few days (tho I had to make a false manual entry for it to bring things through), now I'm back to flashing grey boxes. Very tiresome!!
