My exercise tracker even though I am setting it for walk it is recording that I ran, my friend is also having the same problem 

Any suggestions please

That is currently a known problem that Fitbit is aware of.  Depending on your tracker model, some say it will get save as walk if start from tracker itself rather than from phone app.
