Hi!

My exercise history keeps disappearing from the app. these are not auto tracked exercises and they don't show up on the app. They did appear yesterday but after my workout today, every single one for the week including today's is gone. Yes, I did log out and then back in the app, yes, it is the latest version and yes, I also tried restarting my Fitbit. Nothing helps!

Hello @Esther81 and welcome to the Community.  You are describing an app issue.  Do you use an Android or iPhone?  Your post can get moved to a better fit forum.

Hi! I use Android. It has been working perfectly for years, just the last
couple of days I noticed this issue.

I'm having the exact same issue. Also with my Charge 2 watch and an Android device.

Seems there are two or three (at least" threads with similar issues.  This one "Missing Days on Exercise Tab" "'Exercise day's tile not loading" are others.

The server side excercise syncing logging retrieval is seriously broken, i have raised a support case for my Pixel Watch  but i honestly dont think anything has happened with it other than it has gone into a queue for another level of support agent to do nothing with.

It is extremely annoying, isn't it?

Hello @jessicalm @gavdi @Esther81

There's apparently an issue affecting Exercise data. Some users recently reported that their exercise data has returned. Other users have reported that their data returned, then disappeared again.

I suspect the issue is on the back end/server side. They are likely still be working on it and it could take another day or so for everything to be fixed for everyone.

I'll report back if I learn of any updates.

Thank you so much! Mine appeared then disappeared a day later. I'm glad
it's not my Fitbit!

Same issue here.  Yet again, another bug.  I seriously cannot recommend Fitbit anymore. It was once at the pinnacle of fitness trackers but, over the last year or so, has really fallen from grace.  I don't trust the data (assuming it's even there), the disaster that is "Health Connect" and the integrations that fail (e.g. Peloton recently) show that Google really don't have a clue.

In case it helps the incompetent team that manage the Android app, some more data around this latest issue:

- Seems to only affect my Android App, iOS is fine.

- Might be related to Google Pixel Watch?  I've suddenly started getting messages (see screenshot) that fitbit can't connect sync my google watch, even though the "last synced" time shows it has connected (note the times on both screenshots are the same!).  The watch is also connected to the google pixel watch app.

And before any first line support engineer tries to "help" - yes, I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled, restarted the phone, restarted the watch and probably what else your useless scripted "support" suggests.all designed to distract the user from their being an actual issue with Fitbit.1.jpg2.jpg

Hello @Esther81 @gavdi @jessicalm

I looked at the Fitbit Status Dashboard website and saw that there was an issue with the Web API starting around the beginning of September. This impacts data syncing and is apparently the reason why we're having problems with seeing our exercise data in the Fitbit app. The current status is still showing the Web API issue as of today, 06 Sep 2024. So, they must still be working on fixing the problem.

Please be patient. I'll keep checking the status daily. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer before it's fixed and we see all our exercise data again.

Hello @speedf

I suspect the Web API issue is affecting the sync between Pixel Watches and the Fitbit app. I've also experienced periodic syncing issues with my Pixel Watch and the Fitbit app this week. Sometimes, turning Bluetooth off, then on again will result in a successful sync.

Until the Web API issue is fixed, we'll likely have to deal with periodic sync issues with the knowledge that the problem is on the Fitbit side, not ours.

It looks like that may be it, however it says the issue is with 3P apps which I presume is 3rd party apps and Pixel>Fitbit Android>Fitbit Cloud is about as 1st party as you can get.

Regardless this happened on the 30th and we are now 7th over a week later and app version 4.24 seems to have broken lots of access looking across the forum.
