The activity type options should either be expanded or setup in list form as an option to be able to select the closest available option. Currently you can only log 1 type of yoga for instance but there are multiple types with very different calorie burn. Also can't track basic things like squats or basic leg workout.

Thank you for your feedback about the activity section in the Fitbit app.
If you want to manually log an activity that is not part of the list of exercises, you can create a Custom Activity. This option is only available in the online Dashboard at fitbit.com > Activities, but once it has been created, you'll be able to log it from the Fitbit app.
There is a feature suggestion called "Add Sit Ups/Push Ups to Exercise!". You are welcome to vote it and if there is any update, it should be communicated as soon as possible.
If you want to make a suggestion, you can visit the Feature Suggestions board which is constantly monitored by our engineering team for future implementations.
