Experiencing syncing difficulties after last update

....he last update caused? Why hasn't an official statement assuring us that they are working on a fix and that  our fitbits will return  to working order WITHOUT having to buy another cellphone or another fitbit. We need answers! How long before you  fix this? It's unconscionable that they expect us to absorb the financial loss of their app subscription fees, a NEW cellphone( because they rendered ours incompatible) or another fitbit.
