FYI: How do you update your tracker's firmware using an Android device

I'm sure we have all encountered a time where you need to update your tracker's firmware and all we use is our mobile device. Well, here is how you can do it using your Android device:

Verify that the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your device.
With your charged tracker nearby, open the Fitbit app. If an update is available for your tracker, you'll see a pink arrow next to your tracker name.
Follow the onscreen instructions to update your tracker. Make sure your tracker remains near your mobile device while it updates. If the Fitbit app has difficulty finding your tracker, try waking up your tracker by pressing any button or tapping it.
In case your firmware update takes a long time to complete, don't remove your tracker from your account as a troubleshooting measure. If you've done this, feel free to contact customer support.

Happy stepping!
