Failing to sync after Android 13 update Samsung Flip/Fold

I updated to Android 13 today.
From then on, no sync possible anymore.
I already:

  • Restarted my phone
  • Shut down the phone completly
  • Force quit Fitbit
  • Deleted and reinstalled Fitbit (should be the newest version)
  • Reset the Charge 5
  • Shut down Google Assistant (apparently that's a problem with the Sense and Android 13)
  • Restarted Bluetooth several times
  • Hard Reset the Charge 5

Now I'm stuck with a watch that can't be connected anymore and is stuck in install mode.

Edit: To clarify. The Charge 5 is being seen via bluetooth, i get's found by the app, but it doesn't complete the connection.

I agree.  If I could get my money back for the Fitbit I would.

There was an update to the app in the Google Play store. But even after this update I still can't sync.

@SteviK Thanks, I wasn't aware of the update in Google Play.  So I did that, but still can't sync either.  There was a "Luxe Update Available" on the app before I did that, but cannot sync to "update tracker" yet.

Just got a new firmware update for my charge 5. Talk about false hope. Useless. Think I'm also gonna look for a different watch.

I still have not received an update in the Google Play store. This is getting frustrating and beyond ridiculous.

Fitbit app had an update today on my Z flip 4 and the update did not work. The watch is still not syncing with the phone.

Uninstalled app. Reinstalled app. Restarted phone and device. It's been very frustrating and every time I call fitbit the representatives don't seem to know about the problem. They act like it's the first they have heard of the issue.

Can you give us a status update? Are we any closer to a solution?  Are there any workarounds that we can use in the interim? I'm able to enable android developer mode and make changes from a host computer to the device if needed. I have 7 years worth of fitbit data in my app and I use it daily so without access to my new data im feeling blind and I don't have another device to use.

I do not have any info, if there's been any change frm Fitbit. I do have my
old fitbit Alta.....hadn't thought about charging that up & trying
it.....its in storage tho.....☹

My problem is instead of steps it tells me calories on the apt. Also won't track sleep now.

It's not synching properly.   Calories are being calculated by your phone

I have the Flip 3 and the Charge 5. I did the Android update on 12/7, but the last time my Charge 5 synced with my phone was on 12/5 at 7 am & it was never out of charge or off my wrist for much time. So, I have a hard time believing that the real problem is the uodate which was done at like 9-10 pm 2 days later.

I have purchased two inspire 3 for me and my brother we are not able to connect on our Samsung z fold 3.

After too much try I got connected but again it’s disconnected and same situation not connecting on Samsung z fold 3.

if u r not able to solve it than recall it and refund us back.

Z Flip 3 cannot even find Luxe to pair, so cannot connect to Fitbit app.  There was an update for the app.  And, before my Luxe disconnected from app, I could see a Luxe update, but couldn't sync to get it.  There is definitely something down with the Bluetooth if it can't even find the Luxe sitting right next to it.

Hey, one of our executives couldn't connect their Fitbit charge 5 to their phone, they also couldn't connect the Fitbit charge 4, he is using the Samsung fold phone.
When I tried it worked, I'm using the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
I tried to delete and enable again, gave it all the permission it needed and precise location, nothing works
Any help is appreciated.
