If no Food items or Quick Calories are logged for a given day then the next day it shows as 0. Yes, you can go back and add calories using a Food item. However, you cannot add Quick Calories for a previous or missed day. I don't create and use Food items. I rely on the Quick Calories features. This means I have to preemptively enter some value before the day ends or else I lose the ability to update it without having to create miscellaneous Food items.
In contrast, Water, Weight, and Food items can be added retroactively because they all allow selecting a date. Quick Calories does not. This inconsistency doesn't make sense to me.
Please add the ability to log Quick Calories for previous or missed days just like with Water, Weight, and Food items.
Best AnswerIn case it matters, I am using the latest version of the Android app - currently Fitbit 4.47 (110343466).
Best Answer@Tychee You can log food for a previous day in the Fitbit app. Tap on your Food tile, then select the food. Look for the Date option. I use iOS and this option is directly below the meals/snacks option. It might be in a different place on Android.
If you do detailed meal planning, you can also log food for a future date.
Update: You edited your title and post after I replied. Yes, you can only add Quick Calories on the current day. You can post a request in the Product Feedback forum, asking for this.
