I have a Versa 3 and a Samsung A42 phone. They will not stay linked. 4 months since this started, 9 calls combined to FitBit and Samsung support.
With the help of FitBit support it will connect, then a day later the Versa3 won't sync, and can't be found on the Bluetooth menu.
Fitbit sent me a new Versa 3, same thing happens. Delete and restore the app, it works for a day or 2. Multiple calls with Samsung support, (they also get things working by deleting cache or the app), only to have the issue return the next hour or the next day. I even drove 45 min to a Samsung Authorized service center UBreakIfix, which ran a complete diagnostic on the phone.
I have many other Bluetooth devices paired to my A42 (2 cars, Bluetooth headphones and Bluetooth speaker) no issues whatsoever.
So now FitBit points to Samsung, and likewise Samsung says its a FitBit problem. I'm exasperated. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, @ODogs, welcome to the community. Have you considered the Bluetooth environment where the disconnects occur? If there's a multitude of BT signals linking with the phone at the same time, some of which may be older devices, the smallest (your Versa 3) may be the looser. May I suggest you try closing down those not in immediate use (particularly if it is old) to see if the disconnects continue?
I hope this helps.
Cheers
