I installed fitbit app, and tried to setup, when I clicked it, it brought me to mobile activation page with some credit information card page, and I put my credit info, but whenever I click set up , it sent me the mobile activation page, and some dating service company charged me 5 times($300) ,so I reported it as a scam in credit company.

@Gr4ndp4 Thanks for your input.
@Andrew_Sheen Welcome to the forums. Thanks for reaching out about unwanted charges on the Fitbit app.
Thanks for the explanation. Would you be so kind to share where you downloaded the Fitbit app from? Would you mind sending a screenshot of the app as well? This seems to be a phishing attack using Fitbit as bait. Phishing is a type of social engineering attack often used to steal user data, including login credentials and credit card numbers. Note that Fitbit only charges you, if you enroll for Fitbit premium. What should I know about Fitbit Premium?. Is that the type of prompt you got on the app? Thanks in advance!

@Andrew_Sheen I just want to make sure I have all the details. Would you mind sharing screenshots? That way we can document this properly. There are no additional reports about this scenario. We will continue monitoring the situation and see if other users were affected. Thanks in advance!
