Fit Bit Charge 2 screen cracked after being in hot sun too long?

Got my fit bit in late February 2017. Within a period of about 2 1/2 mos, I noticed the lens is cracked straight down the center and I know that I didn't hit it or anything. I was however on vacation in the Dominican Republic and it was very hot there. I see others reporting the same issue. Can this be rectified somehow.Please get back to me, I would like it fixed cause now I am afraid of water getting through crack. I stopped wearing it for that reason although everything still seems to be working fine with it.

I'd contact fitbit. I've had 2 replacements from them. Not for the same issue as you but they was very quick in offering me a replacement. You never know.
