Fit bit not syncing

Keeps saying can't find fit bit. Its laying on top of the phone. This has been a constant issue. Next month if it continues I will get a google tracker. I need this to keep records of my steps and calories but this is getting frustrating beyond my patience.

For syncing problems I recommend restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

Give this a few tries as it doesn't always work. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more ideas to try in this help file:
